Shelby County, Tenn. — The Shelby County Board of Commissioners will host the 2026 Swearing-in Ceremony to officially welcome our newly elected officials as they begin their terms of service to the residents of Shelby County. The ceremony will take place TODAY, Monday, August 31, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts.
The ceremony will provide an opportunity for elected officials, family members, community leaders, supporters, and residents to gather as a new administration and elected leadership formally take office.
